Danny's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Palos on November 12, 2024. Born on July 20, 1963, Danny lived a life full of warmth, love and kindness. His caring nature echoed in every walk of his life, leaving a lasting impression on all those fortunate enough to have known him.
Danny is warmly remembered by his children, Mylia Haugh, Daniel Palos, and Travis Drayer, who were at the center of his world. The joy of being a grandfather to Lydia McNeil and Bennett Haugh filled his latter years with delightful moments of laughter and shared stories. Judy and Ben Palos, his loving parents, along with his siblings David Palos, Lisa Schlosser, Margarita Palos and Kevin Palos have lost a pillar of their family. Danny was predeceased by his cherished sister, Debi Lazo.
A family man through and through, Danny's kindness extended beyond his beloved family to his son-in-law, Daniel Haugh, whom he held in high regard.
Danny's affable demeanor and caring soul will be forever missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Danny was an avid fisherman who reveled in the tranquility of the great outdoors. He found his solace in nature. Many happy hours were spent at his favorite sound-side spot in Hertford, North Carolina, where he could often be found enjoying his time with his faithful dog, Gunner and casting reels.
His departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but the memories of his warm heart and loving nature will continue to inspire everyone he touched. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to help with memorial expenses. The URL for the fund is https://everloved.com/life-of….
While our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate Danny's life by remembering his kindness, compassion, and endless love for his family.
