Danny Anthony Lovell, age 61, passed away unexpectedly October 14, 2021 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Danny was born in West Virginia to Benjamin and Charlotte Lovell in 1960. After serving time in the Navy, Danny became a professional diesel mechanic and entrepreneur for over 30 years. 

Danny’s pastimes were drawing, fishing, hunting, doing yard work, working in his garage, and watching ghost tv shows. But his favorite was hunting Big Foot in the mountains or alligators in the swamp from the comfort of his couch:) Danny liked to cook, but he LOVED eating a lot more, especially holidays which were his favorite.

Danny treasured the simple things in life like spending time with his wife, daughter, and playing with his grandchildren. He always had a joke or story to tell, followed by a smile and a hug. Danny had a big heart and it was made of gold. He helped anyone anytime whether it was family, friends, neighbors, and even complete strangers. He had unquestionable faith, loved hard and unconditionally.

Danny is survived by his mother, Charlotte Lovell, his loving wife and soulmate of 27 years, Alisa Griffin-Lovell, Daughter, Adrienne Griffin-Miller, Son in law, Taquan Miller, 4 grandchildren, Pierre Jr., Adriauna, Ahriella, and Tristen, mother-in-law, Shirley Offley, sister, Rebecca Lovell, niece, Crystal Gillespie, nephews, Chad and Manny. Special friends, Bobby and Barbara, Tom and Joanne, Rosie and Tommy, Pierre Sr., and Marian (GG), and a host of other in-laws, close friends, and neighbors. 

He was preceded by his father, Benjamin Lovell and his sister, Sherry Gillespie.

Danny will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, pa-pa, and friend. We love you Danny forever and always.
