After a long week of fighting to recover,  Danny "Dan" Forsythe, 70, of Islamorada, FL, passed away on June 02, 2022 at 11:24 pm surrounded by his loved ones. 

Dan was blessed with 4 sons, 1 daughter and 7 grandchildren.

Dan, a proud veteran of the Marine Reserves, owned Shiloh Tire & Lube in Tavernier, FL until his retirement. Dan lived aboard his boat, Shiloh, at Lorelei Marina where he found peace. He had time to pursue his love of boating and the beauty of the ocean. Dan never met a stranger. He was happy to share his laid back retreat with his friends and family. You’d find him relaxing in the evening under his gazebo, welcoming anyone that came by.    Dan loved, lived and enjoyed each and every day. Always smiling. Slipping a joke into the conversation.  That was Dan, who will forever be missed.
