Danny's obituary
Danny Farnham, “Pumpkin” born on September 26, 1964, unexpectedly passed away from a battle with COPD on May 8, 2025 surrounded by close family. A man of strong will, independent spirit, and a robust sense of humor, Danny touched many lives, leaving a lasting imprint full of laughter, love, and treasured memories.
Danny is survived by his beloved daughter, Samantha Fernald, his dear Niece and Nephew, Dee Farnham, and Dennis Farnham Jr., his cherished grandchildren Theo Libby, Colton Fernald, and Madilynn Fernald, his brother, Doug Farnham, his sister-in-law, Paula Farnham, his brother, Dennis Farnham, his sister-in-law, Melissa Farnham, and his sister, Debra Murdock. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. He was predeceased by his wonderful parents Muriel Farnham and Lyle Farnham, and his brother, Dale Farnham.
Danny's career began in the late 90s to early 2000s at Dysarts, which soon became his second home. Previous to that he worked at the shoe shop in Dexter and also did concrete. He relished the simple joys in life such as a cheeseburger with lots of pepper, chicken, delightful peanut butter balls, and sweet gummies. His favorite beverages were Coca-Cola and coffee. He enjoyed rocking out to Warrent, The Outfield and watching his favorite television show, NCIS.
A man of many hobbies, Danny loved tinkering on his trucks and cars, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling , riding motorcycles, fishing, listening to music, and working in his yard. His favorite local haunts included the Exeter store, Ollies, and Dysarts. He loved going into the store to pick at the girls, whether it was throwing pennys at them or spraying them with squirt guns. His favorite phrase was “Hey Brat.”
Danny's pride in his property was evident in the meticulous attention he paid to his house and landscaping - one of his greatest achievements. His daughter, Samantha, and her children, specifically remember this aspect of their father and grandfather.
Thank you to Dee and Dennis Farnham, Christina Thayer, also special members of the family, Dom and Sarina Shepherd who took excellent care of Danny in his final years, and will greatly miss him.
Danny's life may have concluded, but the laughter he spread, the memories he created, and the love he shared will continue to live on in each life he touched.
