Danny's obituary

Danny was a beloved mini schnauzer who accomplished much in his short life. He guided my mother through her early dementia stages and kept her company with his antics and happy nature as she grieved for the loss of her husband. He helped her caregiver cope with a serious medical diagnosis. Then he had to be uprooted from his Ohio home to come to Texas where he kept more older people and staff at a memory care facility smiling and engaged when mom ended up there. He endured all these changes with a smile and a fun loving and affectionate nature. Danny was also very intelligent and occasionally mischievous, but life will never be the same without him. He was the ultimate companion.
