Dannie Lewis was born October 4, 1956 and passed from this life on April 13, 2024 at his home in Richton, MS.

“You are no longer bound by this world, but a part of it. No longer tied to one place or one time, but free. And so we ask that you go now, with all our love, as tenderly and reverently we yield your body to be cremated. Earth to earth, Ashes to ashes, Dust to dust.”

Mr. Lewis was a member of Loop Road Baptist Church of Richton. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jeanette Lewis of Richton; Mother, Jeanette Hancock of Richton, MS; his children, Stephen Lewis of Richton, MS; Josh(Misty) Lewis of Richton, MS; Joey(Cortnee) Lewis of Richton; grandchildren, Lena(Christopher) O’Bryant of Franklinton, LA; Shelby Lewis, Derrick Lewis, Kelsie Mitchell, Connor Mitchell Carter Mitchell, all of Richton, MS; one great granddaughter, Addison O’Bryant of Franklinton, LA; sister, Ann Lewis; brothers, Eli “Bo”(Jean) Lewis; Donnie Earl(Suzette) Lewis all of Richton, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
