1992 – 2025
Daniil Onofrey, 32, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly and was found on March 10, 2025. He was a loving father and partner. He is unforgettable, irreplaceable, and the kind of person whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone who truly knew him.
Dan had a bold perspective on life and a desire to learn, understand, and influence the world around him. He had a deep interest in politics, philosophy, technology, cryptocurrency, finance, biochemistry, and bodybuilding. He was a rising bodybuilder with immense potential and was relentless in his pursuit of growth, discipline, and strength.
Above all else though, it was his love for his son, DJ, that defined him most. He was an incredible father. He who saw DJ not just as his child, but as a reflection of his very best traits. He poured his heart into DJ’s future, always encouraging him to think freely, challenge himself, and remain unapologetically himself.
Dan is survived by his son, DJ, who was his pride, his legacy, and his deepest source of purpose. He is also survived by his wife, Dillon Ryerse. Dan and Dillon shared nearly a decade of love, history, and growth.
He was the most generous and caring friend anyone could’ve ever asked for. He was always willing to help, to listen, and to stand by the people he loved. His loyalty ran deep, and his ability to make others feel seen and understood was rare.
Dan was never one to follow the rules just for the sake of following them. He questioned everything, saw through surface-level narratives, and pushed boundaries. He could be intense, sharp, and complex, but always with depth and intention. His absence leaves a silence that words can’t fill, and a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support DJ’s mother, Megan, in her fight against cancer.
Although there are so many wonderful photos of Dan and his son together, for privacy reasons his mother has requested they not be posted.
