A vibrant, nature loving, organic girl with a big heart, infectious laugh and mother of four beautiful, unique children: Abass Karoma Woody-23, Semaj Woody-20, Lillie Mae Woody-15 and the baby girl, Ka’Mya Woody who just turned six years old.
Fondly loved by her older sisters Natonya Walker-Early and Nysheema Lett, through them Danielle has five nieces and nephews that held a special place in her heart.
Jason of Tacoma, Washington, is Danielle’s only brother.
Preceded in death by her grandmother, Mae Belle Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, Danielle loved dearly the matriarch of the Davis (Woody) family.
Oh, how Danielle’s aunts and uncles in Florida, Valerie and LaSalle Davis and Monica Mitchell, were smitten with their only niece! They loved her endlessly along with many other aunts and uncles, cousins, family and friends. Spanning as far south as the peninsula of Florida, through the hills of Central Texas and upwards to the northwestern state of Washington State, where she lived many of her young years, Danielle had no shortage of love.
Some things her children recount fondly about her and would like to share?
Danielle was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan! You could hear her cheers a mile away during football season.
True to her deep rooted self, she always focused on being “in tune with nature” and exploring her African roots. She loved spirituality and old African traditions.
Knowing her family and where she and her children originated from was one of Danielle’s deep passions.
Something else? That woman loved makeup, creating organic cosmetics…her glossy lips! She worked hard to create a business selling her cosmetic designs and original makeup products.
Still a kid at heart, Danielle also enjoyed everything Marvel and Star Wars.
Above all, this mother, aunt, daughter, sister loved her family and friends the most. Her kind words, open heart and unbridled laughter will be missed for a lifetime.
A free spirit, full of love, has passed on but in her children that love will continue to live through them.
Rest well, “Puff”. We love you more.
Love and respect,
The Family of Danielle Woody
