Danielle's obituary
Danielle Fern DeVivo, age 44, died at her Greenfield Center home on December 19, 2025 following a long illness. She was born at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady on April 19, 1981. She was the daughter of Sharon Ann (Burton) Berube and Paul Cook.
Danielle loved to travel the world. She was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, and her master’s degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduation from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Danielle returned to Saratoga Springs and opened her practice, Phoenix Rising Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic. At her clinic she continued helping her patients until she could no longer to do so due to illness.
Danielle is survived by her beloved daughters, Ava Benson and Kiara DeVivo, her mother, Sharon Ann Burton of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, her father, Paul Cook, of Saratoga Springs, her aunts, Doreen Raucci of Rexford and Tricia Ianniello of Saratoga Springs, and her cousin, Nicole Ianniello.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned and her ashes will be spread as she has requested, and donations may be made in her name toward Lyme Disease research and treatment.
