Daniele's obituary
Mrs. Daniele Christine (Starr) Pasatieri, 49, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Destin, Florida. Born on April 19, 1976, in St. Louis, Missouri, she lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering love for her family.
Called to be a nurse at a young age, Daniele earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University and went on to complete a Master’s in Hospital Administration. Her achievements reflected not only her professional excellence but also her deep commitment to being a vessel of God's comfort and care to those in need.
In 2003, Daniele married Michael Pasatieri. Their marriage was marked by shared purpose and deep friendship. Michael was her constant partner and source of strength throughout their life together. They were blessed with four children—Anna Grace, Catherine Grace, Elisabeth Grace, and Noah Michael—who were the joy and center of her world. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love shaped their lives in profound and lasting ways.
Family was central in Daniele’s life. She is remembered with deep affection by her father, Richard Starr; her siblings, Dina Dinakaran, Dara Ogbevoen, Deborah Starr, and David Starr; and her grandmother, Ruth Starr.
She is also survived by her aunts and uncles as well as a large extended family who were blessed by her presence, including her cherished nieces and nephews. Daniele also shared a special bond with her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Deborah Ann Starr, who passed away on February 19, 2016. Their bond was unbreakable, and it brings comfort to imagine the two reunited for eternity - mother and daughter, together again.
The cornerstone of Daniele’s life was her faith in Jesus Christ, which guided every decision she made. She lived her life before the face of God, desiring to honor Him in all she did. She will be remembered as a vibrant soul who lived fully and loved fiercely. Her joy was contagious, her compassion gracious, and her perseverance an inspiration to all who knew her. Even in her final weeks, her focus remained on the well-being of her children, husband, father, and siblings. She held on longer than doctors thought possible - her faith, like her spirit, was unyielding.
Just as she defended with fierce tenacity every point on the volleyball court in the games she enjoyed, she refused to give up in life. On Thursday evening, her husband and children gathered around her sharing their final words of love. Finally, she heard her youngest sister and caretaker in the end, Deborah, whisper, “It’s okay to go home now, Sis. We got this.” Daniele was then united with her personal Savior early Friday morning.
A memorial service honoring Daniele’s life will be held Nov 15th in Missouri at Hazelwood Baptist Church and in Dallas at a later date.
May the memory of Daniele Christine (Starr) Pasatieri bring peace, strength, and comfort to all who were blessed to know and love her. Her light remains in every life she touched and every heart she inspired.
