Dan Wildes (76) left this world on the 27th of February 2022. He is now whole and healed in the arms of Jesus.

Dan was born on August 28th, 1945 in Hastings, MN being the oldest child of three to Bernard and Monica Wildes. Dan’s childhood was spent growing up in various places while following his dad’s Army career, including Germany.

He graduated from Hastings High School in 1963, and went on to join the United States Marine Corps where he spent most of his career in San Diego, CA. After the service he stayed and attended San Diego State University and went on to marry Shari in 1975.

Dan enjoyed traveling the country in his RV with Shari, playing games where he was known for his competitive spirit. He also enjoyed working with his hands and building just about anything with wood. He was happiest riding his motorcycle and hanging with his grandkids.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Shari, his children; Jeremy, Jenni (Aaron), and Jeff (Kerri). Grandchildren; Bonnie Wildes (Jeremy), Nolan Bayer (Jen) Austin Bayer (Jen), Ada Wildes (Jeff), and James Wildes (Jeff).

His sister Sue Bastien (Paul), brother, Jay Wildes (Tina), sister in law; Kathi Denton (Mark), and brother in law John (Skip) Baydo (Deb).

A memorial will be held on May 13th at 11am At Starkson Celebration of Life Center Hastings, MN, with a visitation prior to the service at 10am.
