Daniel Tanner, born on December 4, 1964, in Portland, Oregon, passed away on September 22, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was the beloved son of Elizabeth Sue Spencer and brother of Christopher Tanner, Loretta Tanner, Rebecca Spencer, and Sarah Spencer. He is survived by his brother Christopher.

Daniel was known for his passion for puzzles and his love of working on cars. A dedicated animal rights activist, he devoted much of his time to advocating for the welfare of animals. His kind spirit and unwavering commitment to his beliefs left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on September 30th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PETA.

Daniel will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
