It is with heavy heart to announce Daniel Stephen Hudson passed away on September 15, 2022 from a courageous battle with Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome. Born on September 15, 1964, Danny was 58 years young when he left us.

Daniel is predeceased by his brother Douglas Hudson. He is survived by his partner Shellie Beno, his mother Sharon Christensen, his father David Hudson, Sr. (Arlene), his brother David Hudson, Jr. (Kristi), his nieces Emily Hudson and Melanie Hudson (great nephew Levi and great niece Malorie).

To know Danny is to understand that putting his feet on the floor was a mission to keeping busy and getting it done daily. He understood that time was a precious commodity and lived life accordingly.

Traveling and having adventures is where Danny racked up great memories. He enjoyed cooking, restaurant’ing, adventuring on jetskis and 4-wheelers, and ‘beagling’ those around him. It is his absolute persistence that had him make the biggest transformation during a weight loss journey because Danny understood the assignment.

A celebration of life will be held at The American Legion, 109 N. Williams St., Thornton, IL on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.  We will have a memorial service by Father Kris of Infant Jesus of Prague Parish, Flossmoor, IL at 3 p.m. and time for sharing your stories of Danny and buffet afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to offset funeral costs or following the link on Ever Loved to a charity in Dan’s honor.
