Daniel “Zeke” Wayne Steffel died peacefully in his sleep on June 13, 2021. He will be fondly and tearfully remembered for his relaxed yet hilarious nature, captured well by a favorite phrase, “Take a chill pill.” Dan, or Danny, was born to Marjorie and Wayne Steffel on February 5, 1953 and very proudly hailed from Salem, Ohio, where he grew up with his siblings Lance, Holly, and Teddy.
