I am sorry to hear of Dan’s passing, but I am proud to have worked with him and called him a friend. I recall his fondness for model trains and sense of humor. My condolences to his family. RIP Dan.
I worked with Dan side by side for 7 years. He was my Inspection partner. I was closer to him than anyone at Moog and we shared many moments together. In the course of those years we shared so many stories and had so many laughs (and cries) it would be impossible to recount them all. Here is what I remember most about him: He loved his family. He dearly loved his wife. He would always mist up when recalling how she helped save his life. He loved his mom and dad and was so proud of his fathers war service. And he loved animals and spoke of them all the time. In all my years there, I NEVER saw him get mad at anyone (though they deserved it!) He was a dedicated worker. He was always kind to me and patiently listened to all my problems, though he didn't have to. And he never complained at all about his health challenges despite his many setbacks. And he was courageous in the face of them. I can say he was the finest person I ever worked with in all my work years and I will miss him with all my heart. God bless you Dan. Until we meet again.
I'm so sorry for the loss of Daniel. I'll always think of him whenever [ insert circumstance(I think of the time I spent with him in the Inspection department. He was a kind, and caring person.. ].
