Daniel, I've been thinking this week about you and your birthday. And I sensed this morning you were wondering who would remember. It's the perfect day to think how precious all of us are to our Father and Jesus Christ, who together made it possible for us to be part of a much larger family after this life is over. We will be invited if we learn to love and forgive as they do. I've kept my promise to you, that I would always love you. Happy #75!
A great marriage doesn't happen when the "perfect couple" gets together. It happens when an imperfect couple gets together and learn to enjoy each other's differences. Our flaws are perfect for the heart that is meant to love us. Thank you for loving me and being my Sweetheart. Candie
Dan was a man of strong convictions. While everyone may struggle at times to always be living out the convictions they hold dear. Dan was no different. But, just because he would struggle at times, did not mean he would give up on believing in the values and convictions that he held in high regard. Whether he was strong in a value, or weak in a value, he would never stop believing that convictions and values; make a man. Grandpa Dan would advocate always for strong faith, strong family, hard work and helpfulness, inspiring to gain knowledge and live intelligently, preparation for the future, loving others, and giving abundance and generosity. He had the best sense of humor. He cared about conservative politics and wanted the best for this nation, his family, his children and grandchildren. There is much to be learned from Dan's life. He will never be forgotten. Just as he always wanted his legacy will live onward, and we will think about him often. We appreciated that he would talk about his faith in God, and now, he gets to experience that face to face.
