Just happened across Skip’s obit as I was trying to find him. I knew Skip in the early 1980s. He was full of life! I’m so sorry for the lose of one of God’s unique souls. RIP Skip. Whenever I hear Gino Vanelli sing I think of you, and when I see a beautiful Doberman I think of you, as well.

skips friendship was very special to me he was generous loyal  honest and most of all i know how much i meant to him and vice versa.i consider my lucky to have known him.the memories we shared will be in my heart forever blessings brother

I am known by the name Billy Rug I met Danny through his brother Robbie over 30 years ago Skip and I lived laughed and drank together I’m so sorry he’s gone so soon he was one of the best friends one could ever have RIP MY FRIEND

I met skip in 1995 in Carmel NY was love at first sight! He had mailed me a ticket to visit with  him for 2 weeks in burbank California he was handsome, charming generous he took me all over the west coast we lived in thousand oaks California and Costa Mesa and back to New York we stayed in touch through out the years and before his birthday! He was a big part of my life!!! RIP my heart your in peace now!!! No more struggles! Love Gin Gin xoxox

He was a very unique individual who protected his friends and family. I will always remember the love he had for animals and his friends and me.
