Daniel's obituary
Daniel Ralph Regler, the beloved husband of Jeanne Regler (nee DeMarco), passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2024, while vacationing in Hawai with his wife. Daniel was born in Lorain, H on March 22, 1962.He was a Navy Core of Engineers Veteran, serving as a journeyman electrician in the United States Navy Construction Battalion, better known as the Navy Seabees. Through his main tour of duty in 1980 1985, his battalion traveled and served in many parts of the world including, Japan, Italy, Guam, and Bermuda. He also served in the Navy Reserves in the early 2000s Daniel had a heart of gold. He would help anyone in any given situation. He held various volunteer positions with the Red Cross, with the VA to transport veterans to doctor appointments, and as a bus driver for Tomoka Christian Church transporting the elderly and disabled. Dan loved nature, and all animals big and small. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Jane Cergol; sister Yvonne Regler; father-in-law, Frank DeMarco, and brother-in-law Frank J. DeMarco. He is survived by his wife Jeanne; sister Elizabeth Carr (Ryan); step- father Gerald Cergol (Bonnie); mother-in-law, Flora DeMarco (Frank deceased); sister-in-law, Francine Ciaccia (Jim); brother-in-law John DeMarco (Libby); sister-in-law Christine Edgar (Frank deceased); and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends,
Cremation has taken place. There were no services. In Daniel's memory, please extend an act of kindness as you go through your day.
