Daniel Franklin Morris, also known affectionately as Frankie, was born on August 27, 1967, and tragically passed away on June 20, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He was a man with a vibrant personality best described as funny and friendly.

Daniel is survived by his daughters Sierra Morris and Danielle Jaimes, and his son Dakota Morris. He is also survived by his brother David Morris, sister Susan Davis, and half brother Donald Folgelman. His ex-wife, Angela Mills, whom he married in 1987, also survives him. Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rececca Hanes and David Lee Sr. Morris.

Daniel's life was laughter, helping others and passion. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, such as his favorite foods like steak and persimmon pudding. His rich taste in music ranged from legendary rock bands like AC/DC, Lynard Skynard, Bad Company, Metallica, and Nazareth to soft melodies of Enya. He also enjoyed the tunes of Creed, Rob Zombie, and Cinderella.

Always one for adventures and puzzles, he enjoyed playing games like Tomb Raider and Halo. His favorite television shows included 'How It's Made', 'Scooby-Doo', and 'Myth Busters'. A love for the color purple was another unique trait of his personality.

Daniel’s favorite recreational activities encapsulated his generous spirit and inventive mind. He loved fishing, working on anything mechanical, taking in strays, and assisting people in need. A fondness for cooking and watching old cartoons were also among his favorite pastimes.

One of his most cherished accomplishments was playing the saxophone. This passion further exhibited his creative side and his dedication to mastering new skills. Daniel will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His sense of humor, and the love that he shared will forever be imprinted in their hearts.
