The Georgia Game Developers, formerly Hi-Rez Fantasy Football League, remembers one of our founding members, Dan. As a league, we contribute our small share to this great cause in honor of our friend. He was brave enough to take a side bet and drafted a defense in the first round. Even in doing so, he still nearly won that first year. He's a champion to all of us.

McHugh Family 

Death is an enemy to all of mankind. God promises that soon he will rid us of death. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Death is a difficult things to deal with but soon Jehovah will reverse the effects. John 5:28,29 God promises that the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. You will see Daniel again.

Dear Gin, Rich, Jessica & Andy,

The world lost an amazing, creative and talented soul much too young.  May his memory remain in your hearts forever.  I still remember our boys playing together when they were little on this wonderful Brio set  built and designed by Rich.  Talent runs in the family for sure.  

Andy, you gave your brother a wonderful gift.  The love in this family is deep.

Our love, hugs and kisses to all of you.

I remember Dan being one of the people I was so thrilled that could make it to my wedding. He was such the kind of family that even though you didn’t talk often, when we were together it was like no time had passed.  His humor and love for life just made you feel so good to be around. This world (and my life) will be at a loss without him … but also so much better for being a part of his life.

I didn't know Dan as well as others, I only worked with him a tiny bit during Contenders, but he was always supportive of me and did so much for T2 and the Overwatch scene. For me personally, I will always remember the kind messages he sent me after I did my first video for Contenders last March, when I was first starting this dream career of mine.

Will miss him dearly.

Dan and I always embraced regional pride during the events, hoping "our" region takes the trophy at the end of the tournament. This time around it was a North America team victorious and this picture reflects our 'tradition' for these events. Beloved memory never to be forgotten.
