Daniel (Dan) “Gonzo” Gonzales, 58, of Santa Fe, was unexpectedly taken to be with God on April 10, 2024.

Dan was born on November 16, 1965 to Juan I. and Mary A. Gonzales. Dan was unfortunately a passionate Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan, and his greatest treasures in life were his beautiful daughter Tatiana (who sadly was influenced by his choice of sports teams) and his beloved fur baby Shiloh. Dan’s laughter, wit, kindness, and joy in helping others will live forever in the hearts of all that loved him.

Dan was preceded in death by parents Juan I. and Mary A. Gonzales, and nephew Juan Miguel. He is survived by his favorite (only) child Tatiana, partner and friend Michele, siblings Joanne (Nick), Juliana (Ron), John Jr. (Joyce), Robert (Graciela), James (Joyce), Martin (Anna), Samuel and Christopher, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held on June 6, 2024 at Legacy East Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Dan by cheering for the Cowboys to win the Superbowl, for the Yankees to win the World Series, and cherishing those that you love.
