Dan was an friend and colleague at GEHC. He taught me the GEHC ropes, and will always be remembered as truly authentic, kind, and a person who put others first. My deepest sympathies.

Dan had such a zest for life. He was always smiling. He participated in our parties every year in Fairy Chasm to the fullest, unless he was traveling. You always knew that Dan was there . You could hear him telling stories. He loved to swim and float in lake Michigan. He would walk down that steep hill and plunk himself in the lake. He lived his life to the fullest and much more than any other mere mortal. He died way to young but he pursued living his best life more than his years gave him. He has leaves a hole in our hearts. I will never forget him. I'm so sorry for your loss Laura and our neighborhood's loss.

Dan was an amazing human or as my mother would have said, such a person. Always smiling, energetic, happy.
