To say Dan had a gift for gab was an understatement. I remember when Dan and Laurie were living in Michigan, Dan had a sales job at a used car dealership. He was an outstanding salesman. When the dealership closed, they gave Dan the plaque with all the salesmen of the month on it because he filled up most of the months.
While I did not know Dan well, he seemed to have a spiritual side and I know he loved the "Footprints in the Sand poem. (https://www.footprints-inthe-…) I think he understood well the times that Jesus was carrying him. Now he gets to be with Jesus and praise Him for all the tender loving care Dan received.
Condolences to his family. I know you will miss him. You are all in my prayers.

From his first show to his last, Dan always came to support and cheer Jeremiah on. They were buds. Dan could always make Jerry laugh. Going to miss your stories that usually started with “Let me tell you…” Rest in peace Dan.

Dan was super fun to be around and he always seemed to see the sunny side of the world.

This is one example of hundreds of just how Dan viewed the world. We were going to Texas for our daughter‘s wedding in Fort Worth and he and Laurie were visiting family in San Antonio so we were able to meet up. We were coming from California they were coming from Texas. We met at the hotel pool at the hotel we were staying at and he had us laughing over and over again about the hot tub being filled in with concrete and yet the directions for how to operate the hot tub still being posted on the fence behind it. Great memories of flipping pancakes for the kids at church or hanging out by the pool.
