Daniel Richard Grimm, age 62, passed away on January 30, 2023, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was born September 6, 1960, in Gretna, Nebraska to Richard and Dee (Ehlers) Grimm. At an early age he grew up in Gretna, Nebraska attending and graduating in 1978 from Gretna High School. After graduation he went on to work for Stillwater Milling Company working his way up to Assistant Manager.

Daniel married Kathy Grimm at the Wesleyan Church in Alva, Oklahoma.

Daniel was known by many to have a “heart of gold and always” willing to lend a helping hand and if needed would not hesitate to give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He was the type of man that always no matter what never met a stranger. Always making friends with whoever life’s path crossed with.

Planting wheat, fishing, camping, going to tractor pulls were things Daniel enjoyed.

Daniel's memory will be kept alive by his dad, Richard Grimm; five children, Chastity Grimm Self and husband Phil of Alva, Ok, Denise Bay and husband Ryan of Tonkawa, Ok, Maelynn "Lindsay" Berg and partner Zach McGinnis of Tucson, AZ, Matt Ideus and wife Misty of Beatrice, NE; sibling, Dean Grimm of Gretna, NE; seven grandchildren, Landen Stewart and wife Nichole Rangel, Talon Montgomery, Bryer Bay, Oliver and Emma Ideus, Cason Berg-McGinnis; two great grandchildren, Ariel and Michael Montgomery, Kynleigh Stewart; special friend, Barbara Schrum of Nashville, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He goes to be with his mom, Dee Grimm.
