Daniel Paul Gallezzo

Daniel “Danny” Paul Gallezzo, 62, of Plantation, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025. Born on July 10, 1962, in Malden, Massachusetts, Danny was known for his kind heart, love of movies, and deep affection for animals.

A devoted animal lover, Danny raised several dogs throughout his life and had a special bond with his beloved dog, Zoey. He also gave a home to a stray cat, reflecting his lifelong compassion and soft spot for animals in need. His generosity extended to the people in his life as well—Danny loved giving thoughtful gifts and found joy in surprising others with things he thought they might enjoy.

A true movie buff, Danny built an extensive film library and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the silver screen. His passion for storytelling and cinema was a big part of who he was, and he enjoyed sharing his favorite films with others.

Danny was the beloved brother of Sylvia Gallezzo of Wakefield, MA; Brian and Marianne Gallezzo of Wilmington, MA; and Hans Peter and Janet Gallezzo of Hamilton, OH. He is also survived by three loving nieces who will remember his generous spirit and warm heart.

He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Ingrid Gallezzo.

In keeping with his family’s wishes, a private funeral will be held.

Danny will be remembered for his warmth, his gentle nature, and the love he gave to both people and animals alike. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
