Daniel E. Browning 79 of Camden, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026. Dan was born April 14,1947 in Covington,Ky to Harold B. Browning and Doris J. (Beasley) Browning. Dan was strong, spirited and had a fiery nature. He was raised and educated in Camden, Ohio and served in the U.S. Army after graduation. He had a love of riding and repairing B.M.W. motorcycles. Dan moved to New Jersey to take employment with B.M.W. He returned to Camden in retirement and continued riding and working on bikes.

Dan is survived by two daughters. Julie Guilfoyle and Jill Brewer. Grandchildren Mariah, Dillion, Lauren Brewer, all in Camden and Nathan and Sarah Munson in Texas. Sisters Kathy Baldwin, Amy Browning and brother Mike Browning. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Lunsford and two brother-in-laws.

A celebration of life will be held on May 2, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the American Legion 200 N Second Street, Camden, Ohio 45311. Join us at 5:00 pm sharp, honoring the life and service of Daniel E. Browning “The Bear” with a military honors salute and flag folding presentation - held at the Camden American Legion on May 2nd at 5:00 PM sharp.

There will be a military honors salute and flag folding presentation - held at the Camden American Legion on May 2nd at 5:00 PM and a celebration of life after.  We invite friends, family, and all who knew him to stand with us as we honor this proud veteran, and his service to our Nation.

Raise a glass, share a story, and help us send him off the way he would’ve wanted.
