To all of those who joined online, in person or in support for the memorial of dan:

It has been a hard few weeks that words seem to lack the ability to describe. Lots of tears, memories, love, sadness, faith and fears all in the same moment. As a family we learned a lot about Daniel from other friends stories. We learned of Daniels journey as a Christian, father and friend as an independent 34 year old man, struggling though life trials.

As a family we wanted to thank all of you for your contributions to Grey, dropping off meals, stopping over for house cleaning, stopping over for a hug and all the other acts of love and support. This has and will continue to be a very hard time for all of us. This week the reality of Daniel's passing seems to be hitting our family in its fullness. The understanding of the true hardness of this loss is setting in. Please know your prayers and fellowship have and will continue to make this journey a little less lonely.

Daniel - you are deeply missed and your not being here to love on as a son, brother and friend will be felt for many many days to come. We will keep loving you in spirit and how we show your best attributes to others. You had over 300 people show up at your service to say they love and miss you. I am talking to our North Star each night as we did when you were at Teen Challenge and through life after. I am heading to the Gym and hearing your voice in my head - two more you can do it, now two more you have it. I deeply miss you.
