Daneane is survived by her children, their partners, and grandchildren: Connor Hogan; Trish Strunk and Livia Hogan; Julia Hogan and Nikolas Huff; and Aidan Stecher. She is also survived by her parents, Rosemarie Sturm and William F. Sturm; her husband, Edward Stecher; her siblings and their spouses, Eric A. Sturm and Christine Sturm, and William J. Sturm and Maria Hasulak.

Daneane Hogan, a beacon of compassion, love, and laughter, was born on March 8, 1966, and departed from this world on February 3, 2025. Her presence was a joy to those who knew her, her welcoming nature making all feel seen and valued. Known for her infectious humor and loving spirit, Daneane was also a dedicated and hard-working woman whose tenacity was an inspiration to all.

Throughout her life, Daneane imparted wisdom and shared valuable life lessons, the most notable one being the importance of treating others with compassion. She believed in the power of kindness, demonstrating it in her daily interactions and instilling this belief in her loved ones. Her loving soul wasn’t just limited to words, but was manifested in her actions.

Daneane's greatest accomplishment, which she regarded with immense pride and unending love, were her three children, Connor, Julia, and Aidan. She nurtured them with her wisdom, love, and devotion, shaping them into individuals who carried her values forward.

A legacy is not made by what we leave for people, but what we leave in them. Daneane’s legacy is one that truly exemplifies this. Her legacy of compassion, friendliness, and generosity will continue to live on through her children, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Among the many things that come to mind when remembering Daneane, one that resonates deeply is her favorite saying - "I love you around the world and back again". This sentiment encapsulates who she was - a woman of infinite love and warmth, who made the world a better place with her presence.

Although her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit and the love she shared will forever be imprinted in our hearts. As we bid Daneane goodbye, we also celebrate the wonderful life she led and the beautiful memories she has left behind.
