With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Danash Thanabalasingam, an extraordinary man, who left this world far too soon on July 8, 2025. Born on July 25, 1991, his life was marked by his adventurous spirit, politeness, reserved demeanor, thoughtfulness, daring risk-taking, and delightful humor. Danash was predeceased by his son and is survived by his loving father, mother and sister. 

Danash, in his adventurous spirit, had lived in both Los Angeles and recently near Nagoya, Japan. His love for exploring different cultures and landscapes was a testament to his daring soul. He was a man of few words but possessed a thoughtful nature, always remembering special occassions of his family and friends. His ability to find humor in the smallest things made him a joy to be around.

His life, although short, was full of adventures that he never shied away from. His philosophy was to enjoy life and always fight for what you believe in. These values he left behind as guiding principles for those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A viewing for Danash will take place at St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium on July 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on July 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on July 28, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May Danash's spirit of adventure and kindness continue to inspire us all as he joins his son in eternal rest.
