Background
Our daughter, Dana, 22 years old, lost her battle with drug addiction. She was beloved by many family and friends, but her emotional pain was just too deep. As her parents, we tried the best we could to help her and get her help. During the 2009 recession, I lost my job and was unemployed for 1.5 years. Even after finding work again, finances were tight and have been ever since. We couldn't afford to get her into rehab, but we tried our best with the resources we could find. All we wanted for her was to be happy and to find some peace. She had been fighting depression for most of her life, and the drug abuse only worsened it. She leaves behind her mother, father, and sister, and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
We know we are asking for a lot, and we hate having to ask for assistance, but this is the least we can do for Dana, to give her the send off that her tired but pure heart deserved. We appreciate any and all help that is offered. Thank you. Contribute
