Dana A. Nottingham, a proud fourth-generation graduate of Hampton University, epitomized dedication and leadership. Majoring in architecture and excelling as the captain of the tennis team, Dana's journey at Hampton laid the groundwork for a remarkable career trajectory. Building on his Hampton education, Dana earned a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, propelling him into the realm of real estate and urban development.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dana held senior executive positions at esteemed institutions such as the Rouse Company, the Walt Disney Company, and the Miami Downtown Development Authority. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Nottingham & Associates, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
Driven by a passion for nurturing leadership and fostering young talent, Dana's legacy lives on through the scholarship fund established in his honor. This fund will empower a deserving scholar at the Hampton University School of Architecture, providing them with the opportunity to follow in Dana's footsteps, to lead, to lift, and to soar in their educational pursuits.
