Dana Edward Eastman, 72, passed away on January 29, 2026. He was born on March 28, 1953, in Bozeman, Montana, to Donald and Elizabeth Eastman, both of whom preceded him in death.

Dana was married to Gwen for a short time and was the incredibly proud father of one son, Aaron Eastman, who married Jen. He was a loving grandfather to his two grandsons, Jaxston (6) and Aaven (2), who brought him great joy.

Dana worked for many years as a parts technician for Cummins before retiring, a career he took great pride in. Outside of work, he enjoyed shooting and cleaning guns, reloading bullets, and especially spending time with his grandsons.

Dana had a rare gift for making people feel at ease. He made quick friends wherever he went, and everyone who knew him loved his words of wisdom, silly little jokes and easygoing nature. He could make anyone smile and left a lasting impression on all he met.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services will be held.

Dana will be remembered for his deep pride in his family, his warmth, his humor, and the quiet love he showed in everyday moments. He will be deeply missed.
