Dan Wilbern Schlicher Jr. passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and deep devotion to his family. A beloved grandfather, father, brother, and friend, he was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Craig Schlicher and Dan Wilbern Schlicher Sr., as well as his cherished wife, Lori Ann Cline Schlicher, whose memory he held dear throughout his life.

Dan is survived by his two loving daughters, Kelli Schlicher Gregory (who is married to Jordan Gregory, with daughter Ava) and LeeAnn Schlicher. They were the light of his life and a constant source of pride. He also leaves behind three devoted siblings: Craig Schlicher, Susan Schlicher Neumann, and Russ Schlicher. Their bond was marked by love, laughter, and unwavering support.

Those who knew Dan will remember his steady presence, generous spirit, and the quiet wisdom he shared through his words and actions. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who had the honor of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in San Antonio to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.

Dan’s journey on this earth has come to a close, but the love he gave and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
