Dan Floyd Roland passed peacefully, on Friday December 13th, 2024 with his family by his side .

Born on August 22,1947 in Tacoma and lived there his entire life. He attended Fern Hill Elementary School and Mt . Tahoma high school.

From the age of 4 he wanted to be a truck driver like his dad and that‘s exactly what he did as an adult, for over 25 years. He lived life to the fullest with many friends and a large family.

He is survived by sisters -Diane MacFarlane and Janice Methven Blanco and brother-Dean Roland .

One daughter Carrie Cooke and Six sons, Darren, John, Matthew, Thomas, Zane and Zachary. Also, 11 grandchildren.

A natural charmer, he will always be remembered for his sense of humor, hearty laugh and big smile.

A celebration of life is being planned in the near future. We will send out further details and notifications with the date and time once arrangements are finalized.
