I met Dan when I married his sister. He was a lifelong friend from that time on. He had a big heart and we spent a lot of time together. He's one of those people that is irreplaceable. He will be greatly missed.
Dan started out as my Bil then from that time on he was my best friend. We was always there for each other and I loved him as a brother. I have many memories and will never forget Dan.
He is and was my dad. I didn’t grow up with him, but was very happy to have hung out with him in later years. He had a lot of cars over the years which are classics now. He was a great character and we had fun shooting the breeze on a number of different topics. He enjoyed playing cribbage and we had a few games together. He gave me an old dodge truck he picked up at an auction for $500. It served a good purpose when I moved and had to haul stuff. Thanks dad ! I hope you find the next world to your liking. God bless.
This is one of my favorite people from the trailer cort I use to live. He was always kind. He reminded me of my grandpa Gary. An then I found out we shared the same birthday. He told me I reminded him of his ex or late wife so sweet. I had a friend help him out a couple times when he needed help.. you will be missed..
Dan and I were cousins, but were like brothers when we were young. At every family event, and there were many, the first thing for us to do was get together. Lake Retreat, Grandma and Grandpa's in Black Diamond, celebrating at the house of a family member, whenever. We stayed at each other houses when we were kids. Then, Dan got married, I went into the Army, and we went different directions from there. Most of my memories with him were long before we were married and had kids. Now Dan told me not too long ago that he believed in Christ. So do I, so we'll be meeting up again some day!
