Damon Jevon Nelson, born on April 6, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, peacefully entered eternal rest on the morning of January 5, 2025, in Harvey, Louisiana.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife; devoted mother, Betty Nelson; his sons, Anthony Sardenga, Devan Nelson, and Sean Nelson; his daughter, Alexis Nelson; his cherished grandson, Braxton Lavergne; his nieces, Trinity and Genevieve Nelson; his nephew, Kevin Nelson; and three step-nephews. Damon was preceded in death by his father, Harold Nelson, and his brother, Jason Nelson.

Damon spent much of his life as a proud resident of Marrero, Louisiana, after living in Harvey. He embraced the vibrant culture of the area and carried a deep appreciation for music and celebration.

May Damon’s memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew him.
