it was really fun hanging out with Damien whlie we were still friends and i will forever remember all the fun we had. it just broke my heart to hear about this if we were still friends today my only wish is to just see him one last time.

I was so sorry to hear about Damien's passing. He and his parents volunteered with Four Paws at adoption events. You could tell the calmness and kindness he showed toward the cats at the events. It was such a joy to watch him enjoy the time he spent with us. His loss affected us all at Four Paws, and the loss was deeply felt. We are so sorry and miss him deeply.

Dear Will, Caroline, and Amelia - I am so sorry for your loss. I am truly heartbroken. I met Damien first and then met you and Will shortly after. I remember being impressed with Damien's art work that decorated several walls in your home and family pictures that represented the life experiences, memories and pure love that your family shared. Damien had a unique quality of being a big protector of friends and ALL animals they came across in need or not! Damien once showed me a few pictures from his phone and I remember thinking that Damien had lived more in 16 years than I had at 50! Rest in Peace Damien. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Damien was an incredibly kind person who was willing to help anyone that asked. I remember I wanted to befriend Damien so I asked for help with a prop I was struggling with, because I didn't know how else to befriend him; I knew he was good at crafts so it seemed to be a good way. He agreed and we started working on it together. We joked the entire time and started catching up. It was very easy to talk to him. Damien was also an excellent hype man. Whenever I told him I felt down about anything, he was there to help me feel better about it. He helped me push myself out of my comfort zone. And during a time where I needed it, Damien and his family treated me like apart of their family. I will always appreciate the memories I have.

Dear Will and Caroline-I can’t even express how sad and devastated we were to hear about Damien today. I have no words to express the sadness. We thought so highly of Damien. He was such a great kid and I was actually even thinking of him the other day and how much he was such a great partner to Ashton. I know they saw each other not too long ago. He was so talented with his art and such a good and kind person. Ashton is just devastated. Please keep us posted if there’s anything we can do or when you plan a memorial service as we would definitely wanna be there.
