It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Damian Lustig, a remarkable young man who left us far too soon on May 31, 1997. Born in the year of 1976, his vibrant spirit and loving personality touched the lives of all those who knew him.
Damian is survived by his loving mother, Susan (Zan) Lustig, his dedicated father, Ray Lustig, along with his supportive siblings; brother, Adrian Gabe Lustig, brother, Toby Rowan Lustig, and sister, Eartha Lustig; each of them sharing a unique bond with him.
Known for his warm and loving personality, Damian was a beacon of light to those close to him. He possessed a unique blend of intelligence and exuberance that made him wonderful to be around. His zest for life extended to his love for poppy seed cake, video games, walking and reading. Indeed, his favourite local spot was Point Holmes, a place where he found tranquility and peace.
His favourite TV shows, 'The Nature of Things' and 'Beavis and Butthead,' mirrored his multifaceted personality. He relished in the comic relief of 'Beavis and Butthead' while also appreciating the inquisitive journey offered by 'The Nature of Things.' 'The Princess Bride' held a special place in his heart among his favourite movies, as it resonated with his own sense of adventure and romance. He also had an affinity for the color green.
One of his greatest accomplishments was mastering the guitar, a testament to his tenacity and passion for music. The lessons he shared, such as caring for others, demonstrated the kind and beautiful soul he truly was.
Damian leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. His loss is deeply felt by his family and friends who remember him as a kind, beautiful soul who brought joy and warmth into their lives.
