We met through a mutual friend named Ada at a heavy metal concert. We spent a lot of time together that summer. From hiking to watching movies, to visiting you at , to meeting his friends at a house. Unfortunately I had to go back to school in FL but kept in touch from time to time. I somehow archived our conversation thread in WhatsApp from that year & after the funeral I went down memory lane & found it. You were such a sweet & insightful person…I got to relive the moments we’ve shared & how I felt about you. We talked about travel a lot & as devastated as I was at funeral, I was happy to see the slideshow of your travels and photography. Your photo is up in my apartment and will always be.

Dalton took the photos of our daughter's surprise marriage proposal at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. He captured the moment so incredibly well and it was so wonderful having our son's "best friend" be the photographer for that special day.

Words cannot express our grief. It is overwhelming. I pray that God will comfort us with all our precious memories of Dalton.

May all who knew Dalton know that God had a special plan for him: that we can be molded by Dalton's dream of living life to the fullest, loving what we do, loving others as easily as Dalton did and by taking on the happiness for life that he never failed to share with others.

Rest in peace , Dalton, for now you will hear God Say " Well done my good and faithful servant".

My heart is breaking for the entire family. Dalton was such a wonderful human being. He was such a great friend to our son, Lane. He was a beautiful soul, extremely talented photographer, and will forever be remembered by all who knew him. We did send flowers, but will also be planting a tree in his memory. God bless y’all! Love and prayers, the Duskin family.
