Dallas's obituary

Dallas Eugene Carroll II, age 46, of Georgetown, IN tragically passed away on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 while working at UPS Worldport, located at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville, KY.

He was born on September 6th, 1977 in New Albany, IN to Ann (Rue) Branham and the late Dallas Eugene Carroll. He served for a short time in the United States Army following high school, then went on to earn his CDL and become a professional over-the-road truck driver. He had a passion for driving, with countless miles driven throughout the US.  This was his 15th year working as a Feeder Driver for UPS.

Dallas, or "June Bug" as his close family & friends called him, was the proud father of his son, Ryan Eugene Carroll, 14, whom he spent his time with playing video games, telling goofy jokes, and building a chicken coup for their chickens.  In recent years, he had reunited with his loving daughter, Autumn Rayne (Moore) Pelkey, 19, whom had been adopted as an infant.  Along with his children, left to mourn his passing are his mother, Ann Branham (Donnie); sisters, Paula Board (Edward) and Christie Binder (Jay); nephews, Kordell and Konner Sowers, whom he deeply cared for; numerous cousins and extended family; as well as his son's mother and former wife, Connie Howard-Carroll.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvis & Mary Rue and Harry & Margie Stumbaugh.
