Dale "Duck" Teal, also affectionately known as Duck, was born on February 26, 1949, and passed away on July 23, 2023. A soft-spoken, kind, and funny man, he left a legacy of love, kindness, memories, and strength. Those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him will continue to carry and cherish his memory every day.
A proud retiree from the United States Air Force in 1986, Dale was best known for his service to the country, his role as a father, and his entrepreneurial spirit, which led him to run his own bunkbed business. Despite his many accomplishments, Dale always reminded others that "you buy cheap, you buy twice," encouraging all to always strive for quality and value in life.
Dale enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was a fan of the sports team Green Bay, loved watching Columbo, and was often found indulging in his favorite food, Ramen, accompanied by a refreshing Pepsi. A keen game enthusiast, he enjoyed challenging family and friends to games of Upwords and Rook. He also found comfort in watching TV and playing card games.
Dale was a true family man. A beloved husband to Linda Teal, a loving father to Alice Teal, Carol Victoria, April Baker, and Jesse Teal, and a cherished brother to Dean Teal, Bob Teal, Mary Warman, and Martha Michaels. Predeceased by his parents, Doris and Bob Teal, Dale will be forever in their hearts.
Dale's favorite color, blue, reflected his calm and steady demeanor. His legacy is cemented by his heartfelt mantra that everyone should always follow their dreams and can be anything they want to be. Dale's love for the military reflected his unwavering support for those who serve. He will be deeply missed but his memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
