Dale Eugene Swisher 65 of Shipman passed away at St John's Hospital in Springfield Illinois on October 21,  2025 at 9:40 a.m.

Dale was born in Carlinville Hospital on June 14th 1960 to Dale and Edith(Wagenblast)Swisher.

Dale is proceeded in death by a twin sister Debbie (infant), a brother Rick and both parents, and his In-laws James and Jacqueline Cox.

He is survived by his wife Michelle (Cox) Swisher and daughter Raina Swisher(Josh Swarringin, Jace and Jaxton)as well as his black lab buddy Kodiak.

Dale is also survived by his brother Rodney Swisher and two nephews Nathan and Jonathan.

a sister-in-law Debbie (Duane) Smith,of Shipman Il.

Two nieces Krista Cox (Michael Dobson)& Kylee and Walker of Shipman Il.

Carly Weishaupt(Andrew)& Adam

Nephew-Craig Smith of Alton il.

Brother-in-law James Cox(Crystal) of Plainview Il.

1 Niece-Addison

And Dallas, Dyllan, Dawson Shaw

Burial will be in Shipman Cemetery after cremation with a “celebration of life” dinner at a later date.
