Dale's obituary

Dale Magee a man who was happiest with a fishing pole in his hand and the salt air on his face, passed away on Feb 9, 2026.
Born to parents originally from Florida, Dale inherited a love for the water that defined much of his life. He was a man of many talents, often found "tinkering" with projects or lending a hand to a friend. His greatest legacy, however, was the time he spent on the water, especially the cherished moments spent teaching his grandsons the art of fishing. He took great pride in helping raise his two daughters and watching his family grow.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his sister, Connie (Herbert); and his two daughters, Leslie (Teddy) and Tasha (Steven). He was a proud grandfather to Ray Jr. (Alissa), Mya, Angel, Maria, Nathaniel, Teddy IV, Christian, Jakobe, and Jordan, and a great-grandfather to two grandsons. He also leaves behind many dear friends who will miss his company and his stories.
At this time, the family has chosen to honor his life privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his memory to organizations that reflect the things he/we cared about:
The Galveston Bay Foundation: Dedicated to preserving the waters he loved so much. galvbay.org
NCADD: Providing education and support for those affected by addiction. ncaddnational.org/donate
