I had the pleasure of taking care of Dale along with many other nurses and techs on the unit. He was in our thoughts and prayers throughout his stay, many of us cried when we heard about his passing. He had an impact on us all. Keeping the family in our prayers.
I knew Dale through my parents, who were good friends with him and Diane. Every time I saw Dale, he had a smile on his face. This was especially apparent when he was with Diane. When my dad passed away in 2015, Dale was there for us every step of the way. He was a second father figure to me and my siblings, and he set an example as a strong man of God for my brothers. My favorite memories of him are on the church softball field. Dale was always passionate about the game, even if it wasn't the major leagues. He was just filled with fun and joy, and although we miss him dearly, I look forward to the day where we will meet again in heaven.

A true son of God and brother in Christ. Until we meet again. All my love to Diane and the kids. Favorite memory: Dale, no matter the blowups that can happen in real estate transactions, he would chuckle and grin telling the tales of them, shake his head, and never lose sight of getting his client across home plate. Dale's merry countenance, coupled with his ability to see the humor, while optimistically moving forward, is tattooed upon my memory. Dale is someone Pharoah was talking about in Gen 41:38. A great way to be remembered <3 Godspeed, Jess
My husband and feel so blessed to have known Dale, he always had a smile on his face and was such a nice person that made it very easy to talk to, he always had a great sense of humor. We wish we would have known of his health condition and how serious it was, Dale will be missed, but someday we will see him again, we are very thankful for his faith in God and for being a leader in our Life group at City First Church. God bless his wife, Diane and children, all our love and prayers are with you.
