Dale Olivia (Rizzo) Heath

February 6, 1956 – January 19, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Dale Olivia (Rizzo) Heath on January 19, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on February 6, 1956, Dale brought vibrancy and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dale lived her life to the fullest, embodying a zest for celebrations, laughter, and love. She was the life of every party, lighting up every room she entered with her quick wit, boundless energy, and her genuine presence in every conversation. Known for her love for fun, Dale made every gathering unforgettable. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and loved, and her positive spirit left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Her faith in Jesus she made evident through her relationships, forgiving nature and by always reminding us “God Loves You and So Do I”.

Dale was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was her greatest pride. She is survived by her two beloved daughters: Nikki (Daniel) Voelkel and Ginger (Joseph) Collier, who carry on her legacy of love, laughter, and strength; her seven adoring grandchildren, Greg (Ashley) Selser, Shelby and Caroline Collier, Lily, Hayes, Camille, and Finn Voelkel; two cherished great-grandchildren, Stone and Vivienne Selser who all brought her endless delight; her two sisters, Sandra (Bob) Allums, Betsy (Steve) Hotard. Dale was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maurice William Heath; her parents, Victor Edmund Rizzo and Verna Rizzo; and her brothers, Edmund and Gerard Rizzo. Their memories and the bonds they shared were treasures Dale carried with her throughout her life.

Dale will be remembered not only for her effervescent personality but also for her deep compassion, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She taught us to embrace life fully, to find joy in the smallest moments, and to never shy away from a good laugh or a great story. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

All are invited to attend a celebration of Dale's incredible life on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the Voelkel residence, 101 Marilyn Dr., Covington, LA. In honor of Dale’s vivacious spirit, the family asks that attendees come dressed in colorful attire to reflect her joyful nature.

Dale Olivia (Rizzo) Heath will forever be missed, but her memory will live on in the laughter, love, and stories shared by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
