I was sad to hear Dale had died. Stan and I met regularly with Dale in preparation for a long Parisian vacation a few years back. I was amazed at the breadth of his knowledge of France, which he generously shared with us both, letting us know about some hidden treasures in Paris that we would never have found without him telling us about them. He tried, not too successfully, to help us with our halting French too. Fond memories of happy times! My condolences to his family and close friends. May Dale rest in peace. Mary Coppinger
