My sincere condolences to the Bergquist family. I lived next door to them when we lived in Holly Park. I also used to babysit Dale, Connie and Lisa. Rest In Peace Dale.

From your friend Marta

My Condolences to all the Bergquist Family. I have some  wonderful Memories of Dale.  How he loved my Son, his nephew Brian . It was always a fun day when Uncle Dale was visiting.  When he  was older he would ask me if there was anything  he could help me with or just come over to check on us or just stay to visit.  He loved Cars and sometimes would try to help me figure out what was wrong with mine.  Dale, You will always be in our Hearts Forever.

I'll always have fond memories of my uncle Dale. As a little kid, from taking me out for chocolate shakes, to rides in tow trucks and trips to the racetrack. His crazy laugh. The road trip to Roslyn. He helped me get my first job after high school. He fixed my broken car despite my stupidity. As a socially awkward kid, he accepted me as I was, and I never thanked him for being there. He would have just smiled, shook his head, and said nothing.

Dale lived … an eventful life. He loved cars and often drove them with reckless abandon. I visited him in the hospital one too many times. To survive all that, he had to be superhuman, and he was – Dale was a super human. Life isn't about the things we have, but the people we were fortunate to spend life with. Thank you, man. Rest in peace.

— Brian
