The morning of his death before we found out what had happened it started to snow for the first time in weeks. Snow has symbolism of death as it's the start of winter but it also has symbolism of purity as it covers the earths imperfections. I think he left at peace and greeted by his grandparents and other family and friends he had lost along the way. His life was cut short and it's painful as we try and move forward after such an abrupt ending but he will never be forgotten. They say you die twice once when you leave behind your physical form and again when your name is spoken for the last time. And I and so many others will keep him alive with us by always sharing memories about him laughing and joking with us, supporting and helping us, caring and being there for us. His kids will grow up knowing what an amazing person he was and how much he loved them because he did more than anything and they were the last thing on his mind. There won't be a day that goes by that he won't cross our minds. He was the most positive and fun going person I've ever met and I'm so honored to have shared the end of his journey with him. I'll always remember our love because it was truly one of a kind because he was one of a kind. Gone but never forgotten. Rest in love Sugar.
