Daisy's obituary
Daisy was born on January 21, 1976 in Longview, Washington to Helen Anderson. She was later brought into the family of Dorothy and Harry Lusby in 1993 and spent over 25 years as a beloved member of the Lusby family. She attended Astoria High School and was a member of the Seaside division of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Daisy was passionate about volunteering and spent hours sharing her time with organizations such as the American Legion and Head Start. She loved her two cats Andy and Amy more than anything in the world. She could often be found spending her free time completing puzzles, especially if they were of dolphins. Daisy was known for always going above and beyond to be kind and helpful to all of her family and friends. Daisy had a great sense of adventure and competed in the local Special Olympics nearly every summer. She was willing to try anything once, was always young hearted and never feared feeling silly.
Daisy was preceded in death by her foster father, Harry and her two brothers Dale and Orec. She is survived by her mother Helen, her foster mother Dorothy, and four sisters between her two loving families Jacqueline, Susan, Melinda and Bess. She is also survived by her aunt Barbara, and her uncles, Dennis and Billy and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on August 30, 2019 at the Seaside, LDS Church on S Wahanna Rd at 4:00 PM. Flowers or donations may be sent to 810 13th Street, Seaside, OR 97138.
