Wishing Cindi's loved ones comfort and peace. Her kindness and competence were a gift to us all. As a former neighbor and a client, I will most remember her out walking the pup and her love for her family.
Here's wishing you plenty of cold Dr. Pepper.

I was surprised and very sad to learn that Cindi had died. Her kindness, warmth, skill and patience gave her a special place in my heart. Even though I only saw and worked with Cindi at tax time for so many years, she still felt like a friend. May Cindi's engaging presence live on in all of you closest to her!

Jay and family, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I know that Cindi is now at peace after some difficult years with her health and the flooding. I know that she enjoyed having you work with her these last few years. Cindi did my family's taxes for over 20 years. She was an absolute joy to work with, and I looked forward to visiting with her each year when we would catch each other up on our year. She had an incredible mind and remembered the most minute details from year to year. She also had a great attitude and sense of humor. Cindi will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear about Cindi. She was a good and close friend for many years in the late 70s and 80s. She did my taxes every year and also directed a couple of plays I was in at MDUMC in Houston. A really classy lady with a great sense of humor!! Rest in peace my friend......
So sorry to have lost a wonderful person and super fine CPA. Will be always very well remembered.
Sincere condolences to the family.

First City Bank made as a condition for a business loan approval that Cindi becomes our CPA for Taxes. She has done them ever since.
First City Bank went out of business. Maybe they should have asked Cindi to do their taxes.
Best event that ever was forced on me in my life.
Cindi, if you can do anything from up there, please hammer some common sense into our politicians to finally come up with a reasonable and fair tax code.
May you rest in peace.
Cindi was a truly great person & will be missed by all. I've know Cindi since the late 80's-always had time to help-no matter what came up!!
The world has lost a Beautiful Person!!!

I am so sorry to hear of Cindi’s passing. I met her in 2007 through my deceased husband Richard Pecena. Cindi took care of our business and personal taxes for us. She always had a smile on her face and we had such a good relationship with her that it never felt dreadful to do our taxes but felt more like visiting a friend. I will miss you Cindi♥️
Cindi was my friend since the '70s and my CPA '79-'88 and again 2005 until her passing. She knew her business and had a dry sense of humor which I appreciated. She could always nudge me back inside the while lines with grace when I strayed too far outside the norms doing what she (and I) called "Boyer Accounting". She was a wonderful mentor to my accounting staff. Most of all she was a class act and a wonderful person.
Cindi was a wonderful person and we will miss her. We always looked forward to seeing each year to go over taxes and share stories of what had happened in our lives in between visits. We will miss her greatly.
I was so sorry to hear about Cindi. I worked with her in the 70's and was so proud of her becoming a CPA. She did our taxes for many years. She was a smart, funny, hard working lady! My condolences to her family.

Cindi has been a family acquaintance since the 70's. I have known her as a friend of my parents, boss, choir member and actress, counselor, accountant but most importantly . . . friend. She is and will be missed tremendously but I will hold onto the many fond memories that I have of her.

My husband and I have been using Cindi for our taxes for over 20 years. We always trusted what was sent in to the IRS and were extremely confident in her abilities as a CPA. She was always available when I had any questions. My husband and I will miss her dearly and we send our condolences to the entire family.
Cindi did our taxes for 18 years- she would tell me to mail all of my items/ but every year I preferred to drive out to see her. We’d catch up and I loved hearing about her children / she’d ask all about my family and was very patient with my messy “ piles” of papers! She was so strong with sharp mind and soft heart! What an outstanding lady! Will miss her!

I’m devastated to hear of Cindi’s passing, such a shock. I met her through my deceased husband, Roger Kannady, so many years ago. I will miss her so much. All my prayers to the family❤️

I’m so sorry to hear of Cindi’s passing. She was the most genuinely sincere person I have had the pleasure of knowing. I will by in Chicago on the 8th and regret missing the Celebration. I will be there in spirit!

Cindi and I met in 1980 as she was the CPA for an insurance agency I joined.
She was much more to me than just someone who helped us with financial “things”. She was a great friend always ready to help you any way she could.
We will miss her smiling face and kind words.
We wish her entire family our condolences in the loss of such a special lady.

Not only was Cindi my CPA but she was a dear friend for some 40+ years. I don't know where I would be today if it had not been for Cindi's guidance to Joe and me. Jay, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely
Joannie Hunt
